At last, the first trailer of Saif Ali Khan’s much awaited and delayed film Agent Vinod is out and the first impression is that the movie promises an adrenaline kick.
The trailer of the film shows Saif Ali Khan held captive under different situations and the only thing his captor seems interested in is his identity. We even see Kareena Kapoor asking an apparently drugged Saif (probably injected with truth serum) “Tumhara naam kya hai?” to which Saif drawls: “My name is Anthony Gonsalvez”.
The trailer shows Saif in hand-to-hand combat, shooting guns, jumping from flyovers, racing the cars, smashing them and even scorching the highway on a bike with Kareena Kapoor sitting pillion.
Throughout the trailer, Saif Ali Khan doesn’t reveal his identity, much to his captors chagrin and his own delight.
Agent Vinod is a spy thriller and not a remake of the 1977 action film with the same title. The film has been shot in Mumbai, Morocco and Latvia. It is written by Sriram Raghavan and Arijit Biswas. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Saif and his partner Dinesh Vijan. It is slated to release on March 23, 2012
